John V. Blackwell and his brother Hector C. Blackwell founded a law firm in 1929 as Blackwell & Blackwell. John V. Blackwell, Jr. joined the firm in 1955. All were graduates of Wake Forest University's School of Law. Timothy D. Edwards joined the law firm in 1995 and continues to practice in the firms area of concentration which is Family Law.
