Kreindler’s longtime position as “The leader in Aviation Accident Law” can be traced back to 1952 when Lee S. Kreindler proved that a malfunctioning propeller on a National Airlines DC-6 caused a crash, which killed 35 people. It was the first plaintiffs' personal injury of its kind, and the jury awarded $300,000, then the highest award ever in an airline crash lawsuit.
