Mr. Bays is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) and in Civil Trial Advocacy by the Supreme Court of Hawaii. In 2024, Mr. Bays received the President's Award from the NBTA. Mr. Bays is one of only two Hawaii lawyers who are certified by the NBTA.
