In that capacity he also defended the New York City Housing Authority in a number of actions. He recently served as lead defense counsel on a large multi-million dollar property damage case. He has also been successful in winning and opposing numerous summary judgment motions involving issues such as the "storm in progress" doctrine, contractual indemnification, spoliation, and res ipsa loquitur. Additionally, Alex has filed and argued successful appeals before the Appellate Division.
