Alexander Turcan

Managing partner Alexander Turcan founded the firm in 1999. Alexander’s practice focuses primarily on the areas of corporate and commercial, banking and finance, telecommunications, energy, real estate, tax and non-profit law, as well as dispute management. He is recognized as the leading lawyer for business and investment in Moldova by clients, peers and international market researchers (Chambers Global/Europe, Legal 500, IFLR1000, PLC Which Lawyer?, Who’s Who Legal in M&A, etc.). The legal team managed by Alexander is described by researchers as "clearly the best" firm in Moldova, "a clear leader in the Moldovan market", and"leading law practice in the country". Alexander has been involved in some of the most complex projects in Moldova, acting as legal advisor for international finance organizations, foreign governmental agencies, transnational corporations, regional investors in such sectors as energy, telecommunication, banking and finance, food processing, retail and distribution, as well as the traditional Moldovan wine and brandy industry. Alexander Turcan is also involved in the development of Moldovan legislation and is an active member of the country’s business community.

Since 2011 Alexander is co-founder and Member of the Board of Directors of the European Business Association in Moldova (www.eba.md).
