Alexandra J. Matloff

Alexandra Matloff is a senior associate in WSHB’s Las Vegas office, where she handles civil litigation in both state and federal court. She has extensive experience defending clients in complex torts and construction defect matters. Her practice also includes insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.

Alexandra earned her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and her Juris Doctor degree from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law. During her time at Boyd, she received the CALI Award for Excellence for the Advanced Legal Analysis and Writing course. She was a senior staffer of the Nevada Law Journal, president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association, and a teaching assistant for the school’s Cyberlaw course. Alexandra also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable James C. Mahan of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

Outside of the office, Alexandra can be heard on stage. As a professional violinist, she has performed both nationally and internationally and is recognized as a versatile soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician, and fiddle player. In the field of music, she earned a Doctor of Music and Master of Music in violin performance from Florida State University.
