Alexis Austin Litle

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Austin Litle served with distinction as a Deputy District Attorney, where she was entrusted with the state's most serious and complex cases. Her prosecutorial career culminated in two of the most demanding roles in the justice system:

Chief of the Domestic Violence Unit: In this leadership position, Ms. Austin Litle supervised a team of prosecutors and was responsible for the vertical prosecution of all felony and misdemeanor domestic violence cases within the jurisdiction. She developed prosecution strategies, trained law enforcement, and handled a high-volume, high-conflict caseload, giving her an unparalleled understanding of the evidentiary and procedural nuances of domestic violence litigation.

Homicide Unit Prosecutor: Selected for her formidable trial skills, Ms. Austin Litle was a member of the elite Homicide Unit. She was responsible for prosecuting first-degree murder, vehicular homicide, and other complex violent felonies from investigation through trial. This experience honed her ability to dissect intricate fact patterns, challenge forensic evidence, and navigate the highest-stakes litigation possible.

Across her career, Ms. Austin Litle has personally handled over 3,000 criminal cases, managing dockets with more than 700 active cases at a time. This background provides her clients with a decisive advantage, as she possesses an insider's knowledge of how law enforcement and district attorneys build cases and, more importantly, where their arguments are most vulnerable to challenge.

Ms. Austin Litle's prosecutorial work spanned multiple major Colorado jurisdictions, including the 4th Judicial District (El Paso and Teller Counties) and the 10th Judicial District (Pueblo County), complemented by extensive experience with the 18th Judicial District (Arapahoe and Douglas Counties). This broad geographic and procedural knowledge makes her a valuable asset for clients and referring attorneys with matters pending in the courts of Colorado Springs, Denver, Castle Rock, and the surrounding communities.

In 2018, Ms. Austin Litle founded Right Law Group to provide a different kind of criminal defense, one that pairs an aggressive, trial-ready posture with a client-centered, trauma-informed methodology.
