Alison is the 2019 recipient of the David W. Alison has served as the chair of the Atlanta Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the Georgia Network of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), and the Bankruptcy Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. She currently serves as a member of the TMA Global Board of Trustees and Network of Women Committee, as well as a United States Regional Director and a director of the IWIRC International Board of Directors. She is also a Master of the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Georgia Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, a Membership Co-Chair of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Legislation Committee, and a member of the Corporate Leadership Council of the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
Alison is actively involved in numerous pro bono projects, having cofounded the Reaffirmation Project, the Low Income Creditor Assistance Project, and the Georgia State University College of Law Bankruptcy Assistance and Practice Program. She also chairs the Advisory Committee for the Modest Means Program and volunteers with several non-profit organizations.
Alison served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable C. Ray Mullins, former Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division.
