Allen M. Stewart

Allen Stewart dedicates himself to fighting injustices caused by corporate misconduct. A nationally recognized trial lawyer, Allen has waged battles against Dupont, Monsanto, Big Oil and other Fortune 500 companies, all on behalf of ordinary citizens harmed by bad corporate decisions.

While in law school, Stewart, along with other Christian students, filed a lawsuit against the University of Arizona College of Law for violating the First Amendment's freedom of religion clause. The lawsuit produced a settlement that changed the school's previous religious discriminatory practices and allowed the Christian Legal Society's law school chapter to receive the same benefits and standing that other student organizations enjoyed. The die was cast.

The son of a police officer and the grandson of a coal miner, Stewart learned working class values. He attended public schools from kindergarten through law school. Before law school, Stewart graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors of Science degree focused on biology and chemistry. He was a research chemist prior to attending law school. During high school and college, Stewart worked as a farm hand, an auto parts salesman, a real property handy man, a newspaper bulk deliverer and an agricultural chemical truck driver.

Stewart practices with four other attorneys in the Dallas, Texas law firm of Allen Stewart, P.C. The firm represents people across the United States. Stewart is double board certified in Personal Injury Law by the State of Texas Board of Legal Specialization and in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocates. He is licensed to practice law in five states—California, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.

In the recent past two prominent nationally respected law magazines took note of Stewart's legal career. In 2003, the National Law Journal named Stewart one of the 40 best lawyers under the age of 40 in the United States. That same year, the American Lawyer named him one of the best 45 lawyers in America under the age of 45. Stewart has tried numerous cases to verdict with many successful outcomes. He has litigated cases in 27 states.
