Successful summary judgment defending commercial landlord from allegations that the unsafe condition of the parking lot caused a vehicle-pedestrian accident.

Successful summary judgment defending national union for car accident allegedly caused by the union’s employee when he was on vacation.

Successful summary judgment, affirmed on appeal, defending homeowners of a lake house sued for serious personal injuries sustained during a boating accident at the adjacent lake.

Successful summary judgment and appeal defending a former elected official in business disparagement case brought by a local businessman.

Drafted successful appellate briefs for appellee/defendant in Dallas court of appeals and Supreme Court of Texas. Neither court reversed the take-nothing trial court judgment granted in favor of the client defendant in complicated auditing malpractice case.

Assisted counsel in Chicago by providing analysis of Texas law on insurance policy interpretation and insurance agent obligations, which led to favorable rulings in Illinois court deciding a dispute that involved the application of Texas law.

Partial summary judgment granted in favor of defendant premises owner sued for wrongful death of trespassing minor.

Motion to dismiss granted in federal court in negligence action brought by injured worker against contractor.

Drafted successful response to Application for TRO in trademark infringement case in federal court; judge declined opponent’s request to close over 10 operating restaurants owned by the client defendant.

Drafted successful motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction in federal court in case against national charitable organization based in Maryland.
