Biography

Meet Anna Christina Lindner — alimony lawyer in Columbia

Anna Christina Lindner is an attorney based in Columbia, MD. The practice focuses on Alimony, Child Custody, and Child Support. Anna has over 9 years of legal experience.

Anna C. Lindner, Associate Attorney at FLAG, is passionate about advocating for families as they go through divorce and custody proceedings. Anna wants to ensure that each child’s best interests are considered and advanced in every case. Anna joined FLAG in September 2018 after a judicial clerkship in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County with the Honorable John J. Nagle III. Anna grew up in Harford County and attended University of Baltimore. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Administration and a minor in Philosophy. While at the University of Baltimore, Anna volunteered at Anna’s House, a transitional housing program for victims of domestic violence and interned at the Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Domestic Violence Unit. It was during this time that Anna discovered her passion for helping disadvantaged individuals, especially those who may not have the means to afford traditional representation. Anna continued her education at the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated magna cum laude. She completed a Family Law Concentration and was involved in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic as a Rule 16 Student Attorney, where she represented clients in divorce and domestic violence proceedings. Anna received two public interest grants for her work at the Women’s Law Center, working on the Trafficking Victims Post Conviction Advocacy Project and the Sexual Assault Spousal Abuse Resource Center (SARC). Anna also worked as a law clerk in a family law firm where she learned first-hand how to zealously advocate for clients who are in divorce and custody proceedings. Anna’s coursework included Mediating Family Disputes, Family Law, Child & The Family, and Trusts & Estates. She expanded her interest in mediation and became a certified mediator while in law school. Anna was involved in numerous activities that focused on children and families, including the Family Law Moot Court Team, the Family Law Association at the University of Baltimore (serving as President), the Center for Families, Children & the Court (serving as a Truancy Court Mentor), and Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) (volunteer advocating for children in foster care, writing court reports, and appearing in court to advocate for each child’s best interests).
