Anna Maria Sosso earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1988 and received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in 1985 at the University of Pittsburgh where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa honorary societies and Phi Alpha Delta, an international law society. Ms. Sosso is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and Ohio before US District Court for Western District of Pennsylvania, US Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Sosso was employed by Nationwide Insurance Company as a claims attorney and commercial litigation specialist, where she supervised commercial litigation, bad faith litigation, agent support allegations and made coverage determinations. She has litigated appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court and Supreme Court. Currently, Ms. Sosso’s focus is in the area of insurance defense civil litigation including toxic tort and declaratory judgment actions involving coverage issues. Attorney Sosso is involved throughout the litigation process from discovery, through motions practice, medical defense, trial preparation and resolution. Ms. Sosso oversees asbestos litigation in various jurisdictions and provides her clients with litigation strategy and evaluations in the various jurisdictions in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
