Atty. Anthony Remo Luna got into law because he wanted to help people and because he enjoys challenges. Anthony is no stranger to challenges, however. Growing up in the Bay Area, Anthony excelled at sports including basketball, football, paintball, and skiing. Anthony was previously enrolled in a Yaw-Yan kickboxing class where he practiced diligently two to three times a week, but now Mr. Luna currently practices mid-range distance running and hopes to compete in a Triathlon one day. Mr. Luna has always enjoyed challenges and tries to excel at whatever he does.

Mr. Luna holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Management and Marketing from San Francisco State University and went to the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated with honors and was appointed a member of the Traynor Honor Society. In addition, Mr. Luna received a coveted Witkin Award for studies conducted in International Banking.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Luna worked in a boutique civil litigation and general practice firm in Fresno, CA and then went on to work with a couple of different Workers' Compensation firms in the Bay Area (doing both applicants and defense side work).

In 2014, Mr. Luna formed the Law Offices of Anthony Remo Luna because he wanted to be able to better serve his clients and his community and in 2015, due to success and expansion, he co-founded the firm Luna & Sutherland, LLP with Atty. Ryan Sutherland.

In 2016, Mr. Luna received an invitation to join The National Trial Lawyers Association: Top 40 Under 40 group. Membership into The National Trial Lawyers Association: Top 40 Under 40 is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile measured by objective and uniformly applied standards in compliance with state bar and national Rule 4-7. Invitees must exemplify superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership as a young lawyer under the age of 40. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase objective process which includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. Mr. Luna has continued membership in this organization since 2016 and was again re-invited into membership in 2020.

In 2017, Mr. Luna was certified as a member to join the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards, and settlements. The organization was founded in 1993 and there are approximately 3000 members located throughout the country. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members. Forum membership acknowledges excellence in advocacy and provides members with a national network of experienced colleagues for professional referral and information exchange in major cases. Members must have acted as principal counsel in at least one case in which their client has received a verdict, award or settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more.

In 2018, Mr. Luna was selected as a member to join America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators. The America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators organization is comprised of the nation’s most exceptional trial lawyers for high stakes legal matters. For initial consideration, an attorney must have successfully litigated (for either plaintiff or defendant) a matter (1) with at least $2,000,000 in alleged damages at stake or (2) with the fate of a business worth at least $2,000,000 at stake (i.e. bet-the-company litigation valued in excess of $2,000,000). Less than one-half percent (0.5%) of active attorneys in the United States will receive this honor and Attorneys cannot buy their way into membership. In 2018 Mr. Luna also dissolved his partnership with Atty. Ryan Sutherland, and in 2019, after a brief break from the practice of law, Mr. Luna formed Cal Injury Law Group to better serve his clients and his community as he felt this was the best way to do so.

In 2024, Mr. Luna was awarded membership into The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 - Civil Plaintiff section for Northern California. The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 is an invitation-only professional organization composed of the premier trial lawyers from each state or region who meet precise qualifications as civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense trial lawyers. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase objective and uniformly applied process which includes peer nominations as well as third-party research. Membership is extended only to a select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state or region who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature, and public profile measured by equitable and uniformly applied standards in compliance with state bar and model rule.
