Bart is a Senior Counsel attorney on Tucker Arensberg’s criminal defense team. He is passionate about trial advocacy and has devoted much of his time to learning the ins and outs of the justice system. His clients are his number one priority, and he understands that he is there to help them through an anxiety-inducing time. Bart applies his great depth of knowledge in criminal law and thorough preparation for each case to secure the best outcome for his client, in and out of the courtroom.
Prior to joining Tucker, Bart spent almost eight years in the district attorney’s offices of Blair and Beaver counties and prior to that he worked in private practice as an appellate attorney. As a prosecutor, he handled criminal litigation from start to finish (from charges being filed to appeal). He has tried two dozen jury trials and a great deal of non-jury trials. In addition to his appellate work, Bart also has experience in civil and family law. He received his undergraduate degree in philosophy and political science from the University of Pittsburgh and his JD from Penn State University Dickinson School of Law.
When not working, Bart enjoys spending time with his four children and is a member of his parish council.
