Birgit A. Almgren

Professional Experience

Attorney Birgit Almgren is a highly experienced attorney with an extensive background in various practice areas, including family law, divorce, civil litigation, immigration, real estate law, construction law, transactions, and estate/probate law. Her unique combination of practice backgrounds, backed by decades of career history, allows her to lend her skills to virtually any client case that comes to Johnson Law Group.

After completing her J.D. in 1986 at the Northern Illinois University College of Law, Birgit quickly began her career as an associate attorney for a prominent law firm in Chicago, Illinois. Not long after, she became a Partner and practicing attorney for a leading law firm in New Buffalo, Michigan, where she handled complex litigation cases, representing plaintiffs and defendants in certain cases. Her legal career also took her to Alaska for a few years and then to Colorado, where she currently lives and practices.
