Brad J. Brady

Brad J. Brady is a native of Anamosa, Iowa and currently lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mr. Brady has practiced law in Cedar Rapids, Iowa since graduation from law school in 1978. He practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, products liability and commercial litigation. He also serves as a civil litigation mediator and has mediated a variety of disputes, including in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, insurance coverage, probate and estate planning, commercial and business, banking, real estate, employment and civil rights.

Mr. Brady has been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, an organization devoted to trial practice and limited to approximately 1% of practicing Iowa attorneys (see the press release) and into the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, an organization devoted to trial practice and limited to approximately 3% of Iowa attorneys. He also has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" in the area of personal injury for the Great Plains region, a peer-reviewed selection process limited to 5% of the lawyers in a state.

He is a member and former chair of the Litigation Legislation Committee of the Iowa State Bar Association, a member of the Jury Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the Litigation Legislation committee of the Iowa Association for Justice and a former member of the Justice For All Group of the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association.

He has mediated in the area of civil litigation since 2002, is a Certified Mediator under Iowa Rule of Professional Conduct 32:7.4(d)(1) and is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota Rules of General Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of ADR Attorneys.
