Brad M. Dashoff

Brad M. Dashoff is an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate/Business practice groups. He works diligently to create practical solutions that transform his clients’ visions into tangible results on projects in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., as well as throughout the United States. He provides practical and insightful guidance on a wide range of real estate issues.

Brad counsels developers, investors, families, private equity funds and non-traditional property owners, such as religious institutions, on a variety of real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposition, and ground leasing of commercial properties; real estate development; and the various types of debt and equity financing structures. His practice has an emphasis on structuring joint ventures and the complexities inherent in shared control and decision-making. He also represents developers in public-private partnerships with city, county and multi-jurisdictional governmental bodies.

Brad works with borrowers and lenders in traditional, construction, securitized, and mezzanine financings. This experience in counseling parties on both sides of financial transactions helps him understand the priorities of the stakeholders involved. In addition, Brad represents owners and developers in multi-parcel mixed-use development projects, as well as sponsors and investors in creating real estate investment funds. His practice includes international purchase and sales and financings, which require handling complex tax and currency matters related to the conveyance of real estate in different countries.
