Brandy Wandres

For the past decade, Firm Partner Brandy Wandres focused the majority of her practice in representing local and national companies and insurance carriers in defense of premises liability claims, as well as providing employment and HR consulting for both regional and national companies. Brandy has taken numerous jury trials to verdict over the past several years for both premises liability “slip and fall” claims, as well as employment claims. A seasoned trial attorney, she now uses those same skills to represent those injured due to the fault of another. Her experience in defending these claims gives her a rare advantage when seeking justice for her clients.

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS

A native of McAlester, Oklahoma, Brandy earned her bachelor of Business Administration and Legal Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma, and her law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While attending law school, Brandy was an Editor of the American Indian Law Review. She has been nominated as a “Rising Star”Attorney from 2012 to the present. Brandy is admitted to practice before all trial courts and all federal district courts in the State of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenths Circuit, as well as all federal courts in the State of Arkansas. She handles all types of litigation, but focuses the majority of her practice on representing plaintiffs with claims of catastrophic personal injuries, including premises liability slip and fall claims, auto accidents, semi truck accidents, boating accidents, bicycle / cycling accidents, wrongful death, and other personal injury claims.

Additionally, Brandy handles a wide array of claims involving employment litigation, and continues to advise both large and small businesses regarding their employment practices. Finding that many businesses simply cannot afford representation from the “big firms,” Brandy is able to provide affordable and personalized representation as Outside Counsel to small businesses on all aspects of employee relations, including assistance in training in areas such as sexual harassment, pay issues, employee discipline, termination, drafting of employee handbooks and guidelines, and drafting and negotiation of employment contracts.
