He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1994 and received a Masters degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2001. He was born in Ocean Township, New Jersey. Mr. Shapiro has handled hundreds of cases before the Social Security Administration and the courts. Mr. Shapiro is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central, Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California as well the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
