Brian Petz

Brian Petz, a seasoned senior associate at Baker Law Group, directs his legal prowess towards Business Law, Probate & Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law. With a steadfast commitment to excellence, Mr. Petz has adeptly represented a diverse clientele in estate planning, catering to individuals with small, moderate, and large estates, as well as those from traditional and blended families. His legal skills extend to guiding clients through the administration of multimillion-dollar trusts and estates, with a track record of successfully litigating probate issues encompassing fiduciary appointment and removal, surcharge, common-law marriage, and heirship.

Beyond his probate practice, Mr. Petz actively contributes to the Real Estate and Business Law Departments of Baker Law Group, LLC. His recent endeavors include providing invaluable support in real estate acquisitions exceeding $30 million in value, crafting various commercial contracts, master service agreements, commercial and residential leases, and facilitating business formations.

Having joined Baker Law Group as an associate attorney in 2015, Mr. Petz is a dedicated member of the Colorado and Arapahoe County Bar Associations, actively participating in the Elder Law and Trust & Estate Sections of the Colorado Bar Association. Furthermore, he remains deeply engaged in several organizations dedicated to serving and advocating for Colorado's senior population.

Mr. Petz holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School. Originally hailing from Clearwater, Florida, Brian now resides in Thornton with his wife and three dogs, where he indulges in leisure pursuits such as hiking and hockey during his spare time.
