Ms. Evans was named one of the Daily Record’s Top 100 Women in 2008 and 2018. She was the recipient of the Athena Award in 2016, and received the Harford County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Award in 2004. She is a past member of the Maryland Transportation Authority, and a past president of the Chesapeake Professional Women’s Network, Harford County Chamber of Commerce and Bel Air Rotary Club where she remains an active member. Carolyn presently serves on the Board of Directors of Harford Bank, Harford Community College Foundation Board and the Rockfield Foundation. She is a trustee of the Maryland Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, where she co-chairs the annual Dancing for the Arts Gala. Carolyn and her husband Tom live in Fallston where their children graduated from Fallston High School.
