Charles Buist

Charles Buist is a trial attorney licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. He is a co-founder of Spetsas Buist Personal Injury & Car Accident Lawyers, which he started with his law partner, Nicholas Spetsas, in Orlando, Florida in 2021. Building the firm from the ground up, Charles focuses his practice on representing injured individuals in complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases.

Charles’s commitment to injury law is rooted in personal experience. As a child, his family was involved in a serious automobile accident caused by a vehicle defect. Both of his parents suffered significant injuries, and the aftermath of the collision permanently altered his family’s life. Being unable to help his parents during that time left a lasting impression and continues to motivate Charles to advocate for people who have been harmed due to negligence.

Raised by his father, Dr. Buist, a dentist, Charles spent much of his early life in a dental office and began working as a dental assistant at a young age. Through this experience, he observed firsthand the lasting consequences of traumatic injuries. Many patients came to the practice after suffering harm caused by careless or reckless conduct, and Charles saw how disfigurement and pain affected their health, confidence, and daily lives over time.

These early experiences shaped Charles’s decision to pursue a career in law. Today, he represents plaintiffs in Medical Malpractice Law and Personal Injury Litigation, guiding injured clients through the legal process with care and determination. Based in Orlando, Florida, Charles is dedicated to helping accident victims seek accountability and move forward after serious injuries.
