As part of the Bencoe & LaCour team, she has recovered tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for clients throughout New Mexico. Cherie has particular experience in representing children and families with birth injury claims and has received specialized education and training in labor and delivery care and the interpretation of electronic fetal monitoring.
Cherie takes pride in justice while guiding people through the legal process with compassion and patience. During law school she served as a mediator for early settlement in the Northeast Alternative Dispute Resolution Program where she mediated cases for judges in courts around Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Cherie was born and raised in Texas and has called New Mexico home since 1997. She is married, has one daughter, two dogs and in her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, movies and the lifelong pursuit of learning.
