Chloe Boubalos

Chloe Boubalos is a dedicated legal advocate with a focus on criminal defence at Daniel Brown Law LLP, based in Toronto, Ontario. Her practice covers both trials and appeals, frequently working within the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Chloe also appears in various administrative tribunals as part of her practice.

Chloe defends a wide array of criminal charges under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and the Extradition Act. She is adept at handling cases related to sexual assault and drug trafficking. Additionally, she conducts bail hearings, including those with complex circumstances, to secure her clients' releases. Chloe's appeal work includes successfully arguing cases involving serious charges such as first-degree murder, kidnapping, robbery with firearms, drug trafficking, and sexual assault. She is actively involved with the Pro Bono Inmate Appeal Program, helping unrepresented appellants in the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Chloe is known for her thorough approach to legal challenges. She carefully analyzes the Crown's case, identifying vulnerabilities to negotiate charge withdrawals for her clients. She has a history of success in securing withdrawals for various allegations, including aggravated assault, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and voyeurism. When necessary, Chloe pursues a strong defence in trial settings, handling both judge-alone and jury trials.

Chloe graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, volunteering as a caseworker with Downtown Legal Services. In this role, she represented low-income clients in criminal matters. She further developed her advocacy skills at a well-regarded civil litigation firm in Toronto, working on motions, trials, and appeals within complex civil and administrative contexts.
