Christine Provencher

Christine Provencher is a partner in Fasken’s Commercial Litigation group. With extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, Christine represents the firm’s clients in any type of contractual dispute, primarily in the areas of construction and procurement.

In her construction practice, she represents different stakeholders in the industry, such as owners, professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and major manufacturers in matters involving construction defects, project management, contract breaches, claims due to delays or additional work, performance bonds and legal hypothecs. Christine is particularly experienced in construction risk management and insolvency, and she also provides legal consulting services in construction project management, preparing or disputing claims, and drafting or reviewing construction contracts.

Christine has acted for numerous clients in diverse industries in matters involving procurement and public contracts. Her vast experience in this area includes advising the firm’s clients on any matters relating to authorizations to contract with a public body, dealings with the Autorité des marchés publics, challenges involving public contracts or calls for tenders, and preparing bids in response to public calls for tenders.
