Christopher M. Hill

Christopher M. Hill is an experienced attorney born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 27, 1958. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1982 and the Ohio Bar in 2002. He is also authorized to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Sixth Circuits, and several U.S. District Courts, including the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the Northern District of Ohio, the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Mr. Hill completed his undergraduate education at Thomas More College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979. He then pursued his legal education at the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1982. During his time at the University of Kentucky, Mr. Hill served as an Editorial Associate for the Kentucky Law Journal in 1981-1982.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hill has focused on mortgage default matters and has become a recognized authority in this area of law. In 1999, he established his own law firm with the purpose of providing exceptional legal services to banks and mortgage lenders within a small firm setting. As the sole owner of the firm, Mr. Hill serves as the Lead Attorney for all Mortgage Default matters and supervises the entire firm.

Mr. Hill is highly regarded in the field and frequently lectures on topics of interest to mortgage servicers. He has also played a pivotal role as lead counsel in numerous significant appellate decisions related to mortgage default. His expertise and contributions have established him as a trusted figure in the legal community.

Additionally, Mr. Hill has been actively involved in professional and community organizations. He served as the Chairman of the Small Firm Group of the American Legal & Financial Network in 2011 and held the position of President of the Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce in 2012.

Mr. Hill has showcased his legal acumen through scholarly writings. He authored articles such as "Copyright Protection for Historical Research: A Defense of the Minority View," published in ASCAP Copyright L. Symp., No. 32 (1981-82), and "Can the Death Penalty Be Imposed on Juveniles: The Unanswered Question in Eddings v. Oklahoma," published in 20 Criminal Law Bulletin 5 (1984).

He maintains membership in professional associations including the Franklin County and Kentucky Bar Associations, actively participating in the legal community.
