Coleen Kinsler

Coleen Kinsler knew during her third year of law school that she wanted to focus her career on Family Law and helping families navigate challenging transitions. She has practiced family law throughout her legal career and has been Board Certified in Family Law since 2020. Coleen is an attorney with Noelke Maples St. Leger Bryant LLP, serving individuals and families in Austin, Texas and surrounding communities.

Coleen understands that family law matters are deeply personal and can have lasting effects on parents and children. Her approach is centered on guiding clients through complex family law issues with care, clear communication, and practical solutions. Coleen works with clients on matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, and other family law concerns, with the goal of helping them move forward in a respectful and constructive manner.

Recognizing that not every case needs to be resolved in court, Coleen regularly assists clients through negotiation and mediation when appropriate. When litigation becomes necessary, she provides strong representation and is prepared to advocate for her clients’ interests in the courtroom. Her experience practicing family law across multiple jurisdictions allows her to bring a well-rounded perspective to each case.

Originally from the Hudson Valley area of New York, Coleen moved to the Austin area during middle school and considers Central Texas home. She earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and attended law school in Chicago, Illinois. Although licensed in Illinois, Coleen returned to Texas to continue her family law practice, with experience in Chicago, Harris County and surrounding counties, as well as most counties in Central Texas.

Outside of the office, Coleen enjoys spending time on the golf course, cooking, traveling, and being with her family.
