Admitted to practice since 1996, Mr. Cherney graduated from the University of Virginia and earned his JD from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Craig served as an assistant editor on the Law Review. Mr. Cherney has clerked for United States Federal District Court Judge Thomas J. Whelan and also Chief Judge Judith N. Keep in the Southern District of California. While clerking, Craig participated in more than 100 federal district court jury trials. Mr. Cherney practiced at the law firm of Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw Pittman. More recently, Craig served as corporate counsel, manager and vice president for a publicly traded Fortune 500 real estate company and a well capitalized private equity real estate fund.
