David A. Rutter

David's experience is primarily in the area of commercial real estate. He has a national practice in the area of complex commercial real estate transactions, including real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing and credit enhancements, as well as joint ventures, partnerships and limited liability company formation.

Representative clients include major healthcare systems, life insurance companies, and institutional investors in commercial real estate. His practice is national, and includes the representation of healthcare companies in the development of new hospitals, the acquisition of hospital systems, the acquisition of large chains of convenience stores in multi-state transactions, the acquisition and disposition of investment properties by life insurance companies and other institutional investors, and a program by the equities group at Lincoln National Life Insurance Company under which they have acquired or credit enhanced over $2 billion in investment properties across the nation over the past several years.
