David C. "Dave" Craig

David advises clients, including small business owners and professionals, in a broad range of business and tax areas including corporate and business mergers and acquisitions, tax and employee benefits counsel and estate succession planning. This includes the preparation of wills, trusts and related documents. He also assists owners, professionals and executives in the formation and structure of their businesses including contract and compliance matters, and formation of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. He has presented topics at a variety of regional, state and local continuing education programs as well as industry and professional trade association meetings.

Following college, Dave served as a line officer in the United States Navy and in the Naval Reserve while attending law school. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for the past twenty years. In addition, he has been a Member of the Board of Governors of the Iowa State Bar Association, President of the Polk County Bar Association and a board member and president of a number of civic, religious, and charitable organizations. Dave is married and the father of two adult children with six grandchildren.
