David C. Miller

David Miller is a partner in Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group. David handles disputes that span a wide variety of industries and matters, including fiduciary, bet-the-company, patent, antitrust, product-liability, healthcare, real estate, and construction litigation. He is particularly well-versed in representing and advising directors, officers, and owners of closely held companies, as he draws on his experience with internal governance law regarding all types of entities to advise clients on how to leverage their positions and powers both prior to and during litigation. David regularly briefs and argues complex matters concerning entity governance and fiduciary disputes in federal and state courts.

His diverse practice has him routinely appearing and arguing motions before state courts throughout Texas, as well as in all four Texas federal district courts. In particular, his patent litigation practice means he appears and argues before judges in the Eastern District of Texas and the Waco Division of the Western District of Texas on a regular basis. No matter the size or nature of the dispute, he is prepared to advise and advocate with an eye toward the specific context of the case.

David has been recognized by numerous legal publications, including The Best Lawyers in America®, Super Lawyers, and Lawdragon. In 2025, David was recognized as an “Associate to Watch” by Chambers USA for Litigation: General Commercial — the only associate to be recognized for the Dallas-Fort Worth area and one of only two Texas associates to receive the recognition.

Prior to joining the firm, David clerked for the Hon. Ed Kinkeade of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. While in law school, he attended Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocate in St. Andrews, Scotland — earning the honor of best advocate in the School of the Trial.
