David J. Rashid

David J. Rashid joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2023, focusing on catastrophic personal injury, medical negligence, and wrongful death cases. He has expertise in medical malpractice cases involving misdiagnosis, surgical errors, birth injuries, emergency room errors, and strokes. In his first trial with the firm, he secured a $32.7 million jury verdict for a man who underwent a foot amputation due to a delayed blood clot diagnosis, the largest Illinois verdict for such a loss. Before joining the firm, Rashid worked at a prominent Chicago personal injury law firm, achieving over $130 million in verdicts and settlements. He holds records for medical malpractice verdicts and settlements in various Illinois counties. Rashid also completed a judicial clerkship with the U.S. Office of Military Commissions in 2010.
