While in law school, Skeet was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. He was admitted to the bar in 1973 and he currently is a member of the Houston County Bar Association and State Bar of Georgia.
Skeet was elected and served as a City Councilman for the City of Perry in 1976. Skeet is the former managing partner of the firm and his practice areas include residential, commercial, farm and timber real estate transactions, banking, business law, wills, estates and probate.
Away from the practice of law, Skeet enjoys fishing and vegetable gardening and the company of his 15 grandchildren.
