Dennis Vann

Dennis Vann, Jr. is a shareholder in the Birmingham (AL) office where his practice involves the defense of transportation, medical malpractice, professional liability and general litigation matters. Dennis is admitted to practice in all Alabama state courts.

Dennis graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee and earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, he was an articles editor for the Georgia Law Review and a member of the University of Georgia’s Appellate Litigation Clinic. Prior to joining Carr Allison, Dennis served as a law clerk to the Honorable R. David Proctor of the US District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

When he is not practicing law, Dennis enjoys jogging, reading and trivia games. He and his wife Ashley are members of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Birmingham.
