Derek Haggerty

Mr. Haggerty's practice is devoted to representing school districts and their employees. He first gained an appreciation for school law while working at The Ohio State University Office of Legal Affairs as an undergraduate and a legal intern. Throughout his career, Mr. Haggerty has represented various school districts and public agencies in both state and federal court. He has experience trying cases before the bench, as well as before a jury. Mr. Haggerty enjoys giving presentations to his clients and has presented on issues such as public records and the liability of public officials for various acts that occur within their office. Mr. Haggerty is a graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business (with honors) and a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
