Ellen Morrison Townsend practices in the real estate, civil litigation, and general corporate areas. A substantial part of her practice is devoted to defending businesses in state and federal courts across Indiana, as well as with the Indiana Attorney General, the Indiana Real Estate Commission, the Department of Insurance and many other state and federal regulatory agencies. She has represented clients in connection with permitting, enforcement and other common issues arising in real estate development work, including zoning and other land use matters.

Ms. Townsend was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star, real estate law, (top 2-1/2 percent of attorneys under age 40 in Indiana), and is a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.
