About Evan H. Krinick
Evan H. Krinick is a litigator and appellate lawyer at Rivkin Radler LLP in Uniondale, New York, and previously served as the firm’s Managing Partner for 13 years.
Since joining Rivkin Radler in 1987, Evan has represented clients in hundreds of significant matters involving Appellate Practice, Insurance Law, and Litigation - Insurance, as well as commercial, banking, health care, municipal and public authority, tort liability, and insurance fraud disputes. His experience includes representing the Long Island Power Authority in litigation related to its acquisition of the Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO), the Shoreham Settlement Agreement, and matters arising from Superstorm Sandy. Evan has argued more than 20 cases before the New York Court of Appeals and hundreds of appeals in state and federal appellate courts throughout New York and nationwide. For decades, he has served as lead extra-contractual counsel for State Farm in New York and has played a key role in the development of Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud practice.
A frequent legal writer, Evan authored a regular column on insurance fraud for the New York Law Journal. He also previously served as the Long Island Appellate Review columnist for the New York Law Journal and as the Uniform Commercial Code columnist for The Banking Journal. For 20 years, he wrote the insurance law column for the New York Law Journal annual New York Court of Appeals special section.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler LLP, Evan served for two years as a law clerk to the Hon. Fritz W. Alexander II, Associate Judge of the New York Court of Appeals.
