Evelyn Lopez

Evelyn Lopez is a respected family law attorney known for handling complex, high-net-worth cases in South Florida. She brings strategic insight and strong litigation experience to high-stakes family disputes involving intricate financial and legal issues.

Evelyn graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2017, where she was a member of the Trial Team and developed a strong foundation in litigation. During law school, she interned with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office as both a volunteer and Certified Legal Intern, gaining valuable courtroom experience. She also spent a semester studying abroad at La Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain. Prior to law school, Evelyn graduated cum laude from Florida International University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.

Evelyn began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she managed a high volume of cases and conducted both bench and jury trials. Her litigation experience includes taking hundreds of depositions, arguing motions, and representing clients facing serious felony charges. She later transitioned into family law at a leading South Florida firm, where she now focuses on complex, high-net-worth family law matters. Her courtroom experience makes her especially effective in high-conflict cases, while still prioritizing efficient and amicable resolutions when appropriate.

Evelyn is active in the legal community through the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, where she has served as Chair of both the Trial Skills Workshop and Judicial Reception Committees. She is also a member of the First Family Law American Inn of Court in Miami and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.
