A graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, he began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, where over six years he handled thousands of criminal cases and conducted numerous trials and hearings. His trial skills led to placement in the Violent Crimes and Firearms Unit, trying complex matters including aggravated assaults, firearm violations, and homicides. While in law school he interned in the Homicide Unit, served as a Certified Legal Intern representing the Commonwealth in bench trials for DUI and simple assault, and wrote for the Duquesne Law Review and Duquesne Criminal Law Blog.
