Glenn R. Meyers is a third-generation New York City attorney in private practice and a fifth-generation New York City resident. Glenn R. Meyers is extremely proud to be an American, a life-long New Yorker and an attorney living and working in The City of New York. Glenn was born in Brooklyn and raised on Staten Island, attending Port Richmond High School. Later, Glenn spent four years in New York's southern tier attending SUNY Binghamton, receiving a BA in Political Science. As an adult, Glenn has resided in Manhattan for almost two decades. Glenn worked as a Legal Assistant at a large law firm for three years and later, under the guise of his father, Allan S. Meyers, Esq., worked his way up the ladder to Law Clerk, Office Manager and Attorney. In 1993, Glenn received his Masters Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a 3.7 GPA. In 1996, Glenn graduated from Quinnipiac College School of Law's full-time night program receiving Honors in Business Law. Glenn worked his way through school. Early on, Glenn was taught by his father and grandfather that the key to a happy life is to help those in need. With such sound patriarchal advice in mind, becoming a New York City attorney in private practice was an easy fit. Besides having been practically brought up at his grandfather's law office in Lower Manhattan and later at his father's law office in Downtown Brooklyn, Glenn has been working full-time in a law office for the past 20 years. In 1997, Glenn and his father became partners in The Law Offices of Meyers & Meyers, 105 Court Street, Brooklyn until his father announced his semi-retirement in 2004. Today, Glenn is the sole owner of The Meyers Law Firm located in Manhattan in the Flatiron/Chelsea area. He is grateful to have his dad as a mentor and friend to discuss the practice of law and to help the Law Firm by performing Real Estate Closings and other contractual matters. Glenn has handled thousands of personal injury cases relating to automobile accidents, pedestrian knockdowns, premises liability, medical malpractice and labor law and has achieved a great deal of financial success on behalf of his clients. Glenn has become known for helping his clients through their tough times by handling bankruptcy, divorce, family law, child custody and child support, etc. Glenn also helps his clients through their more happy times such as when they purchase a home or adopt a child. The Meyers Law Firm is glad to be a full-service law firm for its clients. Glenn loves his diverse New York City clientele. The Meyers Law Firm represents individuals, small business-persons, home buyers, renters, CO-OP Boards, singles, men, women, husbands, wives, children, seniors, people of all races, sexual orientations, religions and ethnic backgrounds.
