Prior to joining HBS, Hannah was a certified legal intern for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she represented a number of her own clients under the supervision of an assistant public defender. During this time, Hannah reviewed body-worn camera footage and conducted research which ultimately led to the State dismissing all charges against one of her clients. She also interned for the Federal Public Defender’s Office, where she contributed to an appellate Batson Challenge memorandum. In addition, Hannah interned for the Honorable John O’Sullivan at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where she researched and drafted a Social Security benefit order ahead of publication by the judge.
Hannah earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, where she was recognized for completing over 100 pro-bono hours while working for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s office. Hannah completed a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Business, from Florida State University.
