Raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, Herb Uzzi left the sunny shores of Florida’s east coast to attend the University of South Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Following college, Herb returned to Palm Beach County, where he began his career as a sports journalist, working as a sports reporter for the Palm Beach Post; a producer, as a host, producer, writer and reporter for ESPN Radio West Palm; and as a producer, reporter, and sports news anchor for WPTV Newschannel 5.

Seeking to fulfil a life-long passion, Herb left the sports media industry and enrolled in law school at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated summa cum laude and third in his class.
