Howard Perdue

Trey Perdue is a senior managing associate in Dentons Sirote's Litigation group in Birmingham, Alabama, where he has a diverse general litigation practice handling matters in complex commercial, product liability, construction, aviation and transportation litigation. Trey has substantial experience representing clients in both state and federal courts throughout Alabama, including managing all phases of litigation from pre-suit strategy and discovery through trial and appeals.

Trey has successfully represented clients of all sizes – from Fortune 500 companies to local businesses – across a variety of industries, including national corporations, regional contractors, insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and privately held businesses in both state and federal courts throughout Alabama. Known for his pragmatic approach and responsiveness, Trey regularly advises on risk management, regulatory compliance, and early dispute resolution, helping clients navigate challenges before they escalate into costly litigation.

Outside of his practice, Trey is actively involved in the legal and broader Birmingham community. He is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar and previously served as the president of the Young Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association. Trey also serves on the Young Supporters Board for the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center. While in law school, Trey was a Senior Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, served as the President of the Student Bar Association and co-founded the Cumberland Air & Space Law Society. Trey was selected by the faculty to serve as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow and was recognized for his outstanding scholastic achievement by being named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges®.
