Notably, he served as Notes Editor for the UNLV Gaming Law Journal; Regional President for the Hispanic National Bar Association, Law Student Division; and as his cohort’s part-time student representative within the Student Bar Association. Upon graduation, Hugo received the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law Dean’s Award, recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements within the law school community.
