He is a proud lifelong resident of Waterbury who dedicates countless hours to those in need in the greater Waterbury area. Attorney Diaz has been an adjunct Trial Competition Professor at the Quinnipiac School of Law since 2010, where he coaches law students for inter-scholastic competitions. While attending law school, he was named the Northeast Regional TYLA Mock Trial competition’s champion. Attorney Diaz is a graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and is a current member of the Keenan Trial Institute where he continues to receive instruction from the country’s most elite trial attorneys. He is fluent in Spanish. Attorney Diaz was also the former Chairman of the Connecticut Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission, where he helped create legislation to alleviate the social obstacles of the Latino community in areas such as health, discrimination, self-sufficiency, education, and public safety. Attorney Diaz is also very active in his local church where he serves as a minister. He enjoys spending time with his very extensive family, including his 8 siblings, and making Facebook Live videos.
