Jack Arthur Moring

Jack A. Moring is a seasoned attorney dedicated exclusively to marital and family law, with a particular focus on family law appeals. Holding the prestigious Board Certification in Marital and Family Law from The Florida Bar, he stands as the sole practitioner in Citrus County to achieve this esteemed recognition, signifying his exceptional legal acumen and proficiency in this specialized field.

A proud alumnus of the University of Florida College of Law, Jack embarked on his legal career upon admission to the Florida Bar in 1985. He commenced his professional journey at Bradshaw and Mountjoy, P.A., based in Inverness, Florida. In 1994, he joined forces with Patricia Myers to establish Myers and Moring, P.A., a partnership that later evolved into Moring & Moring, P.A., reflecting his marriage to Patricia in 1996.

Throughout his illustrious career, Jack has remained an active member of both The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. He has held prominent positions within the legal community, including serving as a Past President of the Citrus County Bar Association and playing a pivotal role in the establishment of its Family Law Section in 2006. Jack's commitment to pro bono service has garnered him accolades, including the Citrus County Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award in 2004 and The Florida Bar President's Pro Bono Service Award for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in 2008.

Jack's involvement extends beyond local associations; he has made significant contributions to The Florida Bar's Family Law Section, serving on its Executive Council and various committees. Additionally, his dedication to professionalism and legal ethics is evident through his involvement with the Fifth Circuit Professionalism Committee and his appointment by Chief Justice Jorge Labarga to the Steering Committee on Families and Children in the Court.

Beyond his legal practice, Jack remains deeply committed to community service, serving on the boards of numerous organizations including Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, Inc., and the Children's Advocacy Center of Citrus County, Inc.
