James E. Monroe

James E. Monroe serves as a partner at Dupée & Monroe, P.C., specializing in representing injured plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, encompassing cases such as auto accidents, construction accidents, products liability, and class action litigation. Additionally, James actively engages in criminal defense practice and advocates for individuals whose civil rights have been infringed upon. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Albany State University in 1991 and completed his Juris Doctorate law degree at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in 1996.

Beyond his legal commitments, James takes pride in his role as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Access: Supports for Living, a charitable organization affiliated with Access: Supports for Living, devoted to fundraising initiatives. This 501(c)(3) organization operates under the guidance of a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors. Furthermore, James contributes his time as an assistant scout leader for Boy Scout Troop 63 in Goshen, New York.
