Jay Philp

Jay Philp partners with clients through all stages of real estate transactions with a particular focus on acquisition, capital structuring, development, leasing, financing and sales. Jay has worked with clients throughout the country on a variety of projects, including office, medical office, hotel, resort, multifamily, mixed-use, retail and industrial developments. Jay’s clients include individual landowners, private developers, master redevelopers, private equity investors, investment advisers and REIT affiliates.

Because many of the real estate transactions on which Jay works involve joint ventures or other equity arrangements, Jay has significant experience structuring and negotiating limited liability company and partnership agreements, fund structures, preferred capital investments and subscription processes. Additionally, he represents purchasers of real estate loans and conducts foreclosures.

In addition to being licensed in Colorado, Jay is licensed in Florida and Massachusetts, where he practiced law before moving to Colorado.

Jay is a past member of the firm's Executive and Compensation Committees.
