Jeff G. Moore received a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences from UCLA before obtaining his law degree from the University of California, Hastings School of Law in San Francisco in 1998. After passing the California State Bar, he spent eight years as a Deputy District Attorney for Riverside County. During his tenure at the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Moore was assigned to various specialized vertical prosecution units, including Grand Theft Auto, Welfare Fraud, Arson, Special Prosecutions, and Narcotics Prosecution. Designated as the Major Narcotics Vertical Prosecutor for the Southwest Division, Mr. Moore has received certification in Clandestine Laboratory Investigation from the California Department of Justice, which is the same training required for all law enforcement clan lab investigators. He has attended additional law enforcement trainings in the fields of homicide, auto theft, and high technology crime, as well as the CNOA (California Narcotics Officers Association) conference. Mr. Moore's assigned cases have encompassed virtually every major area of criminal law, from misdemeanor battery to first degree murder. Additionally, Mr. Moore participated as an attorney-coach in the Riverside County Mock Trial Competition for six years, before entering semi-retirement as a perennial scoring attorney for the competition.
