Jeff P. Palmer

Jeff Palmer has over twenty years of experience representing clients in financial services, complex business, securities, and white-collar litigation. Jeff focuses his practice on financial services industry litigation and regulatory matters. Jeff represents broker-dealers, including their management and employees, in investigations and disciplinary proceedings initiated by the SEC, DOJ and FINRA. In addition, Jeff represents brokerage firms and their management in customer-initiated cases and arbitration proceedings. Jeff regularly handles matters involving claims for breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, breach of contract, fraud, elder abuse and undue influence and violation of federal and state laws and industry regulations. Jeff has conducted numerous internal investigations into alleged unfair business practices, breaches of fiduciary duty, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Jeff also advises clients on professional liability insurance coverage and contractual indemnification protections. In addition, Jeff counsels companies on developing guidelines and response plans for responding to subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants seeking company and customer information.
